This is the fourth book of the Storm Chronicles and it could be the best one yet! Skye Knizley’s writing pulls me in and nothing else exists except for the story and the characters. Raven, Rupert, and Aspen make an incredibly well-oiled machine to solve normal and paranormal cases. With high intensity action, multiple complex relationships, and a good dose of unexpected twists, Shadow Storm raises the bar in the horror genre.
I'm a huge fan of Skye Knizley books and I love Raven she is one badass Vampire cop she doesn't know how to quit. playing nice with others she doesn't know the meaning of the word. If you want a female who is independent can kill you with a sword or bullets maybe a little crazy has a dysfunctional family members but will kill if anyone hurts them then I suggest you go read all three books in this series.
Raven is such a sexy strong character and her involvement with Aspen was a nice romantic turn that took me by surprise I noticed the chemistry and I was hoping it was leading up to something and I finally got my wish this story was so compelling it just draws you in from start to finish you will not go wrong reading this series
At first, the flipping from one Storm to the other had me confused. But the dates in the chapter subtitles really mean something. My fault, not Skye's.
It was great to read about Raven's father and making clear the relationship she has with Frost, and where that came from. There is a lot packed into such a pivotal book in the series. The pacing is non-stop and kick-ass as Raven.
Skye Knizley is the definitive master of the vampire genera.
This was the most complex of all the Storm Chronicles, Bit of confusion over the flashbacks to the past, but I'll admit it did a good job of giving hints as to what Raven needed to do, or was going to do, next. The ending was surprising and gives you an idea of what the next book might be about without directly telling the reader. Overall I think Ravens character as well as some of the others are undergoing an evolution during this book and I look forward to the next one as always.
This is another amazing book by this very talented author. From the moment that I picked up this book, I was taken to another place that was not going to let me go until I finished the very last word. From the moment that you are introduced to these fantastic characters you want to see them succeed. The book moves along at the perfect speed keeping you interested and not losing speed at any point. This book needs to be read, there is no doubt about it. I cannot wait to read more from this very talented author in the future.

Another awesome story of The Storm Chronicles. This book is told in the dual voices of Raven Storm in the present and Mason Storm in the past, following a case that both generations of Storm detectives race to solve as the boddied pile up. Yet another kick butt adventure filled with mystery, action, plot twists, loads of bloodshed and even a bit of romance. I cannot wait for the next book in this series!
